Once upon and time this guy who found the wheels he's wanted for years, they just weren't the right color. It didn't matter because he knew he could change them to anything he wanted...

So he got them...








After weeks of research he found a company called rotiform that refinished wheels just the way he wanted.

So he got them redone...










So now that he had the wheels in hand all that was left was a way to lower the car. After all for each day you drive a car with aftermarket wheels while at factory ride height a kitten will die. And this guy is no kitten killer...

So again after some research he decided to go with a set of GT2 Coilovers...

And this is where the story will continue tomorrow folks as this fine lad is heading to Fast Forward to have the suspension installed...

I had rotiform refinish my wheel because they have this one color and texture that I was drawn to.

this is terrible...I've been putting off getting coilovers while I worked on some other stuff...I had NO idea I was killing that many kittens! I better hurry up!

btw, the wheels are sick and rotiform is an awesome company!

 

I've been a kitten killer too...

I've put the wheels on but have not had time to put the suspension on. So I washed the car and put it in the garage until I have time to put the suspension on...

Trying to work out the kinks on the GT2 suspension. If I get them worked out I'll stick with the GT2's. But if it doesn't I'll sell what I have and get some new PSS10's or something.

You'r right, stock is not going to cut it.

Almost there gents.

There was a little snag in the install process. I was just able to have them installed this past weekend. I had to source some new drop links. Now all that's left is a proper corner balancing and I'm good to go!

Once that's done I'll post pics.
