Emergency Flasher Housing; '03 911

I'm thinking of installing the (2) red LED's for a K40 within the right side of the outer plastic housing of the Emergency Flasher. Can anyone tell me if there is enough room behind the housing to accommodate these (2) LED's? What's the best way to remove this switch from the dash? Any issues with damaging the surrounding leather on the dash? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

If you are talking out this oval trim piece there is no room. Pic from Sandy.

Best location for the LEDs is below the instrument cluster. The LEDs can be hidden right into the corners below the cluster. In addition, you can pop off the covers of the LEDs and slide the lights right into the cavities there.
