Since Porsche doesn't sell the 996 C2 new anymore, I wonder when they will change the PDE vehicles from 996's to 997's. Anyone know?

DAMN! I'm going to miss it by a few months! Mine is scheduled for March, and I was hoping (it makes sense) that they'd be featuring the cars they can currently sell, not stuff they can't. Ugh.

Porsche uses 911 C2s with sport suspension and sport exhaust to teach driving skills at the Porsche Driving Experience. All cars are virtually identicle exept the instructors have aerokiits. PCNA sells the cars at the end of the year, though I couldn't really recommend one as they are beat on pretty good.
I highly recommend PDE for any P car enthusiast, well worth it IMO.

Thank you

How sweet... I did the local chapter's (PCA-SD) Driver's Eduction a month ago, ($295 Which was more like a race school) and absolutley loved it! I highly reccomend it, especially becuase you get to use your own car~ This way you are taught it's limits and how to control them...

I also highly reccomend it for any of you who have all wheel drive! The built in understeer aka "push " is suprisingly tricky to handle at high speeds compared to us two wheelers...

Cheers,

Paul
