Steering wheel shakes

I have tried numerous times to fix the steering wheel shake I get from my 996. I have figured out it only happens when I have my iForged wheels on which are 19x9 up front. I have had them balanced and re-balanced several times and cant figure it out. The wheels are hubcentric and mount flush. I even have hubcentric spacers up front and the problem still exists. Has anyone come across this situation before?

Yes, I've got Iforged and have/had the same issue. I live in nyc so my 2pc wheels take a beating on these streets. In my case, I had the front wheel lip sent out and get trued, had a bad bend(slow leak) so even w/ balance, will still had shakes after 65mph. Now I'm shake free.

There is a place that will balance your wheel without removing off the car. I forgot what its called. Something like highspeed balancing I think. Or you can try to call Iforged company and explain to them about your issue. Maybe they can help. Just my .02

I had a similar issue but it turned out to be incorrect tire pressures!

Wheels are bent, guaranteed...i had the same issue with my Ifoged wheels on my M3. Take them to a wheel shop have them look a each wheel carefully one of them is definately bent. Those Iforged wheels are prone to that. Good luck
