Anyone else interested in turbo kit for 996
power button on the turbo kit
As a option you can get the tpc turbo kit with a power mode button. Keep it off for everyday driving and then apply it to kick in the turbo...
Is one truly more reliable than the other? There are pros and cons to both but the bottom line is increasing airflow into the combustion chamber. Then it becomes a matter of heat dissipation. More fuel/air = heat. Both can be adjusted to deliver varying degrees of pressure, both generally need intercoolers, both require reprogramming. Horsepower drain and lag are somewhat "instrument" differences and not significant for normal street/road course performance. I would thinj it comes down to price and ease of installation.
Just my thoughts.
