soft top brush

Cab owners: What kind of brush do you use on your soft top? The soft brush I found all shed fiber and would leave fiber on the top. I've been to two auto parts stores, Brookstone and none offer a quality soft brush. Where do you get your brush? Or do you just towl dry after washing the top?

I just hose off and dry with a microfiber towel. Microfiber towels stick to the top like velcro. I lay an open towel on the top for a second then lift it off and lay it in a new area. A good microfiber towel will not leave any lint.

The top stays remarkably clean and lint free. If I need to spot clean an area I first vacuum it using a brush attachment. If I need to wash the top I use my OXO brush, which you can find at Proper Autocare

I also like Raggtopp cleaner and protectant. My top still looks great and beads water months (and several thousand miles) after application.

I dry mine by laying a towel repeatedly over the top (no rubbing of course) and let the towel soak up the water.

To "brush off" when dry I use one of those gizmos you can get at a dry cleaners to clean lint off clothing. Works very well.

When I do my semi-annual top wash, I use a shop vacuum to suck up off the water, and then let the remainder air dry.
