Yea, that's a little too much for a visual engine compartment upgrade. as they say too rich for my blood... I guess I'll investigate having the current airbox CF layered or painted.

The question is besides looks what does it buy you over a cold air kit? The hose included with my FabSpeed kit seems to be much thicker and heat resistant than stock as it appears to be made of some heat retardant material rolled around a mold. Is Carbon Fiber that much more heat resistant than plastic?
