Well if you are interested there is a 99 Carrera by me in nj with 18k miles, one owner and is going for 25k i think. I was looking at it but found a deal of a lifetime and i really cant stand silver. otherwise 99's are great. The low weight makes a world of difference when racing/playing. The problems to look for are the intermediate shaft failure, overheating, seatbelts throwing the airbag light. and thats really it and of course the RMS.

I wouldn't call your car "plan jane" as stated. For some reason, you got the sport seat option or someone put those lovely seats in. Pics of the interior?

Alpine, I didn't know I had a different seat, I'll take a pic of the interior, but how can you tell?

Based on your pic, it seems like you have the winglets towards the top of your seats for added upper body support. You can check the option sticker under your hood(if the hood is original) to see if this was an original option or not I believe. But it was most likely added afterwards in my guesstimation.
