i'll try to snap some pictures. the box fits behind the seat and does not obstruct the rear view from the mirror. in fact, it is the same height as the rear seats so you can't see the box.

as for what types of subs, i can't really comment as i wasn't the one that built the box. you can however, pm brotherhinkle as he is the one that built it originally for his car.

I like mine better. And I haven't even built it yet. No 6.5" subs for me. I ordered the Polk 1240DVC which will be powered by my Alpine M500 pushing 500 watts at 2 ohms. The sub is rated at 425 watts rms, 92db sensitivity, and 27-200Hz. Looks really good on paper so I can't wait to get started on my masterpiece. Oh yeah, it has a top-mount depth of 4 5/8".

I actually did this already 3yrs ago when I bought my C4S. needed more "boom boom" and wanted something stealth and clean. the seats fold up when not at a show and there are LED's in the front and back of the box wrapped in suede. will take more pics this weekend as the car is actually at a show now (world of wheels in Chicago). take a look......

built the bottom of the box

Bottom of the sub box is built. I don't have the sub yet so I can't build the rest. I need to know how much clearance I have which will determine the height of the piece of the box that goes up against the back of the rear seats.

That's nice Jay, I just recently joined the forums as I'm looking for a p-car. I might have to check out your car sometime. You probably remember me back in the day when Deceptions was relatively young. Lived over by Will close to Peterson/Western. PM me offline.
