Just shy of 1200 and comes with shocks/springs/sways

What I don't understand is that owners of the M030 say it's a bit harsh yet it's not really good for the tracks. Sort of defeats the purpose of having a sport street setup(that you can live with at least) if it's rough on the streets but yet doesn't perform that well on the tracks.

I wonder if the M030 shocks is slightly underdamped and the system has more spring than dampening...

ROW M030 is the euro sport suspension. If you buy the whole package, it comes with shock, springs, sway bars w/bushings. You can buy the pieces separately as well.

Around $1000 for the whole thing.

Find pics of a 2004 40th edition. That is a standard option.

ROW 030 is decent for track setup (depending on what level you are competing at...) and its better with GT3 sway bars and gt3 control arms... its definitely usable at the track.... but if your into serious racing where you are towing your car... go JRZ or MOTON

Priced it out for my 2000 C4 Cab last week from Sunset, $1,036, but must be ordered from Germany and will take a month or so as Porsche showed no stock so it must be assembled. Ironically that price is a few dollars less than just buying four stock shocks, and you get springs and sway bars with it. Hard to figure that one out.

Is it me or is the ROW kit the only thing that hasn't increased in price that much over the past few years? I know the X74 and GT3 bars have...

I love mine. Ride is how it should have come from the factory. Anyone who thinks this is harsh deserves a Buick.

just did pss10s,h and r sways front and rear, front camber plates from tarret, and rear toe arm links also adjustable from tarret, and a 2004 gt3 euro-30mm drop alignment spec.but most important is finding some one who knows what there doing, when it comes to the install!,the alignment following the install is critical, and you will also need to follow up with an alignment check,as the suspension will settle after a month or so.you can then also adjust the damping feel and ride height, what can i say absolutely incredible!the car feels like its on rails, almost feels like a new car, sits lower and feels so planted, not sure what damper settings im gonna stick with for the street, right now 5 front 7 rear, ride comfort doesnt seem that compromised from stock at these settings, will report further in future posts, now dont get me wrong all these upgrades werent cheap, but i think coilovers wether bilstein,kw(even more expensive)h and r or any of the other companys with porsche fitments may be the best upgrade, next to a b and m short shift kit,so start saving you wont regret it!....thanks go out to jay and the boys at EXOTIC MOTOR WERKS in plainview long island, new york, what a shop! state of the art everything,i got to watch jay work, absolute perfectionist and a real gentleman with the credentials to back it all up,porsche trained tech going back many years, here on long island,i want to wish jay good luck with this new business!

I like how I wanted "ROW M030" owners to chime in and you get everyone and their grandmothers with all sorts of setups chiming in.

NP, it probably sounded more harsh than it was as it was getting late into the night. Nice ride and I can certainly understand your enthusiasm so no worries.

I'm probably in the same boat as you probably were but I wanted to see as many pics of the ROW before making a decision.

I've had a few sets of coilovers on my previous cars and they all pretty much ended up as a "set it and forget it" affair which defeats most of the appeal of coilovers. Hence the harder decision I'm facing...

alpine 003- i decided on X-74 vs ROW030 or PSS9/10 as i wanted it a bit lower than row030 but not slammed & didn't think i'd adjust coil overs after they were set. So after 2+ yrs with car i feel i made right decision with X-74 vs 030. Looks & handles great & isn't to harsh. (my Mini S with springs, koni yellows, camber plates was very harsh- nice on track but jolting on street_
There are some views on line of difference in the 030/x74 springs/shocks.

I believe coilovers will allow a front rim wider than 8", where with 030 or 74 the wide spring diameters in front is issue. (read this haven't tried it myself)
hope this helps somewhat.

Thanks for the input. I've also considered the x74 but a couple reasons holding me back:

- Price is over twice of the Row but is better track suspension and lower making it more aesthetically pleasing to some people, however not necessarily twice the performance on the streets.

- The lowering might be a concern as I live in the city with speed bumps and big dips considering I have the MK1 GT3 Aero kit on mine.

- I "might" attend 1 or even 2 DE's if I'm lucky per year.

However, I'm still not sold on the ROW because I've been reading inconsistent lowering of the ROW kit on various cars. One possible theory is that it could be attributed to receiving the incorrect kit as they have different kits listed between mk1 and mk2 cars as well as Auto and AWD configurations. I've also seen some where it looked ok and others where it still looked high. I guess that's where the confusion comes in and at this point, I would feel like it's the luck of the draw, hence wanting too see as many pics as possible.

I too have a 2002 targa and considering going this route. Is the ROW a very noticeable difference from the stock suspension? Any other info you can provide would be great. Thanks.
