painting a tk grills silver

Mgtythor1 is infamous around these parts
painting a tk grills silver

my body guy has 6 cars in the NYC auto show..a really hot matte siver c2
with the hood ,top and deck in gloss black...looks really hot..

anyway he suggests that i paint my tech art bumper midnight blue but do the hood grill and mirrors in hyper silver to match the wheels...
what do u guys think..is it not Porsche like??

Is it mesh grille or slats. If the later, I think it will look like a pickup truck south of the border.

Painting things just to paint them on a dark color car will break up the lines rather than accentuate them. If the car was silver, I would think it would look better to paint the grilles silver than the black to blend the car, but otherwise I dont like it.

Wait wait wait.. I just re-read that.. He also wants you to paint the hood and mirrors of your car silver??? It will look absolutely ridiculous. Think of a wrecked car that you found donor panels for and that is exactly how your car will look.

I would find another body man.

I think you should find yourself another body guy...Painting the hood grill & mirror silver....is he serious........that will look so Ghettooooo..

I think it will look good...the grill needs to be a different color from the bumper to stand out. Matching up with the wheels and mirror housings is smart. If you have a wing blade I would match that as well.. I say go for it

FLY996, I see you practice what you preach, which is fine on a silver, white, or black car... but once you leave the grayscale to colors like blue?? No way
