Wrapped! Holy @#$!!! [pics]
Sort of like big exhaust tips, black wheels, altezza lights, big wings, neon, etc...
Hope the price of the actual material for the wraps doesn't go down in price or else you'll be seeing these on Kia's and being sold at Pep Boys...
Now if you want to do it just for the protection aspect of it, maybe find a good brand that you wouldn't mind sponsoring you and get paid to drive your car. Free wrap, free protection, some money in the pocket...

I partly agree. Even though matt black has been out for a while you still don't see all the ricers doing the same thing. But I agree that the price should stay somewhat high - this kind of things fit M3 CSL's, GT2/GT3's, lightweight Ferrari's etc., not a Nissan 350Z, Honda S2000 and so on... (Although I've seen a CF body S2000 before and that was a sick little beast, had 300 NA horsepower, time attack configuration and weighed the same as a Miata, whoah!!)...
That was exactly my point, was the fact that wraps are still priced high enough where typical ricers can't/won't want to spend that kind of money on it. Instead they buy a roller and get a gallon of paint from Home Depot to achieve the matte(or less elegant sounding "Flat") look on their cars.
