Can I get some help determining my car's value?

I'm thinking about getting rid of the ol' trusty 996. It's been heavily modded so I'm having some difficulty determining price.

I'm realistic about not getting everything back that I've put into it, but I don't want to take a bath either

Here's the details:

2002 Porsche 996 Cab
Speed Yellow
Approx. 38K miles
EVO supercharger
Bilstein PSS9
GT3 sway bars
GT3 Brakes
Pagid Yellow pads
Brembo floating front rotors
GT3 Seats
OEM roll bar
OEM short shifter
OZ Allegrita wheels (black)
Michelin Sport Cup tires
OEM turbo front bumper
OEM replica turbo rear bumper
Techart type II rear spoiler (whale tail)
Spec Stage 2 Clutch and LWFW
Tons of clear bra
A slew of stereo gear

The mileage is low for the car and it would seem that stock 996 cabs are selling for approx $30-35k with similar mileage.

Thoughts on where I should be with my price?

Cool

It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay you for it.

All you need is one buyer who wants it just like it is.

However, you have personalized it to your style by heavily modifying it.

Unfortunately, all the aftermarket mods don't add up in resale value.

You'd prob come out much better parting it out and putting it near stock.

In todays market - prob around $32K as it sits.

I would look at Ebay completed sales of cars like yours, mods and no mods, to get a ball park value.

parting is the way to go, but if you want to sell it as-is I'd place it on Ebay with a reserve you're comfortable with and go from there

The key with your car is the supercharger. That puts it in a different league than any other 2002 996. The challenge is to find the person who knows the value, will appreciate it, and will be convinced that you haven't shredded your engine to pieces with all that extra power. I would think around $40K would be the actual value, but I don't think you will get that unless you find the perfect buyer. You really need to find the guy who was going to put on a supercharger anyway once he bought his 996 and will be glad that it's already done.

IMO, just under $40k would get you some action. Closer to $35k would get you a LOT of action. All the mods might scare people away though esp the supercharger bc you can never be sure how clean the install was and who can service it when problems arise. Just MHO though.

being someone in the market for a 996 cab, i would say ~$35k as I wouldnt spend more than $28-30k on a stock cab with ~40k miles. I m looking to spend ~$25k for 60k miles.

I don't know what the market is like in CA but my 2001 with 30K miles was $22K 5 months ago. Don't settle.

2001 are worth less than 2002's due to the 3.6 engine and other upgrades. Then the cab is worth more than the coupe. Apples and oranges I didn't buy a 2001 back in 2004 when I got mine for just those reasons.

This is kind of what I was thinking. High 30's to 40k. Don't overlook the brakes. That is an 8K dollar upgrade. Almost as expensive as the blower. Spec out a GT3 master cylinder, calipers, rotors, pads, uprights, brake lines, etc... It's stupid expensive

I'm not worried about the motor. This kit is very conservative. Realistically it probably only makes 50-60 rwhp over a standard 3.6 most of the time. That peak power (125 rwhp) is only seen for a brief moment at redline. I have zero concerns about the integrity of the engine.

Parting the car out would be a huge PITA, but I'm prepared to do that if I have to.

The install was done by an EVO dealer and forum sponsor (Suncoast Motorsports) so I'm not sweating the integrity of the install. Quite honestly, it's such a simple kit it, there's not much to it if you follow the instructions and not much that can go wrong with it. EVO and VF did a great job putting this one together.

Awesome freaking setup. Unfortunately, I think You will take a bath on it because the price range you are going to need to be in to feel whole will easily be 996 turbo territory.

Take it apart and put it back to stock and you will probably make out 10k higher on parts sales.
