extended warranty
Any internal engine part is covered, they don't itemize them. They don't list, pistons, rings, valves, connecting rods etc. If you're practicing to be an a hole, let me be the one to tell you, you got it down man.
It means more that they CAN, legally, make you SOL. My father bought an extended warranty on a car a few years back, and when I read it through, I laughed as I translated the Legalese to read,
"This extended warranty is invalid if any part of your car is broken or ceases to function."
Seriously, that's how it read. They had the legal right to back away from repairing the car under any circumstances. However, he used the warranty a few times, and they had no issue with covering the repairs. In a lot of cases, it's more to cover themselves against the, "So this is the 4th Porsche engine you've destroyed," cases...
I think I mentioned in another thread where a company quoted me $2400 for 2 years, with a maximum of a $4800 claim.

Thanks for all the feedback.
I finally decided to go with the 4 year 48000 miles Bumper to Bumper coverage for the peace of mind so I can drive my C2 everyday.
I did check with Local Porsche dealership and they accept Mercury policy without any issues. We will see.....
