Aero Package -Confusing Please Explain

I am looking for an aero package but I am overwhelmed by the information out there. Here are some questions:

1) What is the difference between aero I, aero II... etc packages?
1b) are both the aero I and II from the factory?

2) How many different FACTORY aero kits are there?

3) Is Tequipment factory or is it aftermarket?
3b) Is: http://store.yahoo.com/parkplaceporsche/tequipment.html
the only place that sells the tequipment parts?
3c) Why is the spoiler on the website above different than the more bulky factory aero packages?

4) Does the aerokit decrease the ground clearance (front, side)?

5) What is the installation process? Drilling? Extensive?

Thanks in advance.

See attached pics from parkplaceporsche website. This is what I am looking to do. I'm not so adamant about the front bumper, and rear panels. Will it look funny if I don't replace the front bumper?

to answer ur questions quickly:

1) the difference between aero I & II is the aero I was designed to fit the pre 02 911s. notice the headlight & the rear bumper are different between pre 02 & post 02 car. thurs the aero I won't fit on post 02 cars except the side skirts.

2) if u're only talking about factory narrow body 996s there are just 2. aero I & II + a cab wing like the pic u posted. don't confuse urself mixing with Turbo/C4S or Boxster.

3a) Tepuipment is factory Porsche parts.

3b) no. everyboby can get the part and 99% we have better pricing than the dealer. if u're interested in those parts fell free to email me so i can get u a figure.

3c) because the one u posted is designed to fit the cab. u can put this wing on a coupe but a regular wing can not be fitted on the cab.

4) yes u will have less ground clearance by maybe half to one inch depends on if u're gonna lower the car or not. car will look better of course when it's lowered.

5) fectory pieces came primed ready to paint. after the paint it's just bolt right on. not as extensive as most other aftermarket stuff.
