Alrighty folks...here is the latest.

Try as I might, finding a hotel in the Wine country to accommodate a group of 10-15 rooms for one night is a HUGE issue. In the past this event has been a two nighter, however, due to the late notice I thought it best to make it a one nighter.

So...an alternative is now in mind. The Gold Country.

As we are fast approaching fall, I thought it would be nice to take a nice drive through some great roads East of the Bay Area. Calaveras/Jackson area. I have mapped out a tentative route, which looks pretty darned awesome, some historic and scenic stops, and a little bit of fun. I am going to head up 88 this weekend and do a pre drive to ensure all roads are safe and open for use. It should be a gorgeous time of the year to take this route.

Please let me know if this is still something of interest? The date in mind is still October 25th and 26th.
