At least its a win win for the owner and buyers end.

Dealerships used to have a reputation that you could trust buying a car from them as they would fix the issues (which is why they bought cheap, and sold a little higher), so you would actually pay a little more but get something good in return. Nowdays, they buy cheap, throw it on the lot (leaking, smoking, you name it...), say they have 15K point inspection blah blah, and pass it off to the next unsuspecting buyer at a premium cost.

No thanks, I rather deal with another porsche buyer and give him a good price. just my opinion though.

Speaking of which I'm also willing to trade for a Lotus (Elise, Exige, etc..), so PM if you know anyone, lol.

Nice, How about the Lotus Evora? Have you seen them yet? Evora is a sharp car.... wonder how they drive....

I'm a little reseved on the Evora, the absurd and unique styling of the Elise/Exige Series is what I like (not to mention you can take bets on who can actually get in with the top on ) The styling is more plain than I like especially since the build quality is not so great. Haven't driven the Evora yet, but the the others are like go carts for men. Not for everyone, honestly it's so bad in everyway it becomes awesome.... lol I do like the newly refined interior though

umm actually the dealers are RIGHT, blue book is a guide thats about it, there is something called True Market Value, + Auction report, ect....cars depreciate and thats it..a 2002 is def worth 20k on trade in maybe even less... these cars aren't easy for dealers to sell, i've been looking for one for the past 2 months and i definitly wouldn't buy it from a dealer unless there was a warranty....

Again blue book is a "Guide" thats it..you wanna know what a cars worth through bluebook, go look at TRADE IN VALUE **FAIR CONDITION*** and deduct about 20% of that
