So a few weeks back, another member said after a spirited drive, their cars smelled. I jumped in, and said, dude, my car also smells after a long drive, and usually after a car wash almost as though i had a dead rodent...looked around saw nothing abnormal.

Well, today i took apart the airbox, replaced it with a 997 one, and replaced the poly rib belt as well. Low and behold, look what i find in the old airbox. fregging gross. All i can say is it had a bad death. spare you guys the details, but cleaning it out wasn't fun. Pic for your enjoyment.

 

I will be the first to say sick!! seriously though in a bad way. How the Hell does a rodent get into an airbox anyway?

 

I'd have to sell the car. Nasty!

Either that, or the air suction suffocated the poor thing. Ah well. You live, you learn. You don't, you...don't.
