thanks...the paint is holding up very well in this TX heat...no chipping so far..I had the shop spray extra coat of clear just incase..

Very neat!

Have you considered DRL? Like 997.2 which integrates turn signal as well?

I finally rewired the parking light down to the bumper light..it fits right in perfect without any modding..

thanks. I've thought about that...but don't know if that's an easy DIY..I think theres an old thread about DRL...have to check it out.

AFAIK you just bake the entire headlight assy in the oven for 10 mins at about 150-200 degrees checking frequently. Place the headlight on top of a damp towel to avoid the oven grill from melting the headlight plastic. I'm too chicken **** to try this on mine.

That looks fantastic. What kind of primer did you use? Did you have to prepare the surface first, before adding the primer?

Here's my cheap option to improve the look of the fried egg lights: a film for the fog lights.
Not nearly as fancy or nice as your option :-)
