I finally rewired the parking light down to the bumper light..it fits right in perfect without any modding..
thanks. I've thought about that...but don't know if that's an easy DIY..I think theres an old thread about DRL...have to check it out.

AFAIK you just bake the entire headlight assy in the oven for 10 mins at about 150-200 degrees checking frequently. Place the headlight on top of a damp towel to avoid the oven grill from melting the headlight plastic. I'm too chicken **** to try this on mine.
