Trunk light
My trunk light doesn't come on when I open the trunk,but when I open the engine compartment lid it comes on along with the engine compartment lid light.Do I have a bad latch?

mine does the same, "sometimes" but if i flick the latch a few times it comes on. its just a bad micro switch. but i dont know if you can just replace the switch or if its part of the latch.

Mine has a mind of its own, i noticed tho that if i have to trunk open and i open the glove box then it will work.

I just tried this and mine is exactly the same...

The light bulb seems to be ok, its just where the latch is. If i pull back all the way after the trunk is open and let go it creates a vibration and the light goes on.

its not you latch then, there is a limit switch that needs to be re-adjusted... it should be in the same area as the latch.

UPDATE!!! So i put some WD40 on the latch the last time i posted and now my trunk light works perfectly...
