Exact same happened to my 2003 4S

Replaced my rear tires 295 with a different make and my PSM was also kicking in big time around turns. Didn't change the fronts since they have about 86% left. Tire pressure was a little high in rear so I dropped it to 35psi. Fronts are set at 34psi. I've driven it about 100 miles so far and the problem is pretty much fixed itself. It was freaking me out big time during the first drive. I figured since I'm not modifying the OEM size it would be ok, but I was wrong. What's weird now is I'm still a little apprehensive to take a sharp turn. In time I guess I'll do it. I guess we can say we live and learn about these cars.

I had a tire shop do that to me and the ABS locked up on me when exiting on a curved ramp and caused me to spin. I now make sure the tires are matched.

I think it's just a difference in traction. I had the same issue when I changed my rears (fronts were really worn). Once I changed the fronts, the problem went away. It is scary as hell, though.

Actually the difference in rolling diameter between a 295/30/19 and 235/35/19 is only 1.8%--Which is the exact some difference between a 305/25/19 and 235/35/19.
