Did you do anything yet? I still like the stock rims the best...I ordered my new 997 w/the 18's as I dislike all the 19" choices..

i am actually going down to FVD and seeing another set of avus's.

the funny thing is that i love those 19's lobster forks on the 997.

no one else seems to like them

I thought about them they are actually $500 less as an option then the other 19's (similar to the 198's) but I think the spoke is too wide on those...let me know what happens.

Nice wheels but they look kinda blocky. I'll get the HrE's 540s anyday over the avus.

I like the wheels blackbear had on his turbo cab. Also the GT3s, and the carrera light weights for a stock choice.

Anyone that has seen your car, usually says the same thing "there's something about your machine that sets it apart from the other 996's" even though you have stock wheels. It is the red brakes, the red clip in the hub center and the spacer's. Save your money and spend it on the interior. Red Belts, Steering Wheel w/ red accent, New Racing Seats, maybe a front spoiler, maybe! Therefore keep you existing wheels.

thanks, bobby. i guess i will stay stock on wheels.

yeah, i think i am going to spend some cheddar on the interior.

i think i am gonna change my thing to say "i have alcantara fever."

go with the 19" Champion RG5 Monolite http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=57

the 19" Champions are lighter than the 18" 5-spoke and they look hardcore..!!

click on the link and go to the 2005 997 photo... for some reason the ones on the seal grey 996 look "white".. but they are not white... they are silver... look clean and perform... one of the best looking rims I've seen in a long time.
