Lightbulb New Wheel Suggestions...

I fell in love with these AVUS wheels today at the wheel store.

I always liked GreyGhost's ride, but now I'm really feeling it.

Here's some pics...what do you all think> I was contemplating HRE 542's as well.

Any thoughts?

How can anyone say that these wheels aren't bad ***! The wheels construction is incredible, the finish exceptional, and the service is top-shelf. As much as I want exclusive rights to this wheel I think they are the best looking thing out there. Go for it but make it quick... the meet is in 2 days!

greyghost...i went down there with that intention, to get them done by the meet.

the silver isn't in stock, 2 weeks.

yellowbmr: thanks for the feedback... but again...you have a canary yellow beemer 1990 somethin', so i'll take your comments for what they're worth. and also, i don't smoke.

thanks for the advice all, this sealed the deal, i like the avus because they are rare, not everyone has them.

is the wheel you're showing for a tt? the lip looks huge. i can't imagine they could pull of a lip that big on a c2 offset.

Greyghost's wheels are the nicest wheels I have ever seen on A N Y Porsche.

Avus hit it out of the park with the AF-501.

I'd buy these in a heartbeat if it were my car.

yeah, that wheel is for a TT in the pics.

My AVUS wheel would be a 10'', shown is 11''.

I'd still get a 3.5'' lip on the rear, sweeet!

Those are definately my favorite Avus wheels. The 5 spoke pattern is a classic race look and much easier to clean than the multi spoke jobs...I say get em!!!

I like 'em, but i don't LOVE them...

For some reason, they look very "blocky" to me. Not sure if that flows with the lines of the car. IMHO

You gotta love the lip though...
