New brakes,drag?Need advise please.

My first brake job in the rear, changed pads and rotors.

Went smooth, followed all advise from the forum, and everything went well.

Took it for a test drive, rolled down the window and drove at a slow speed 15-20 mph, I can hear the brake pads drag a bit against the rotors.

Is this cause for concern?

Or will it go away when time goes by, the piston seals all looked good and seen no other irregular items, used all OEM parts.

TIA

It's normal and completely fine. They will mate up and have less grinding noise in around a hundred miles of stop and go traffic. Report back in a week or two if it's still annoying.

At least you didn't install the pads backwards hahaha. I don't know what I was thinking...must have been distracted...anyways I installed new fronts and went for a drive. I kept on hearing the pads "drag" and thought they just need to be broken in. Took it back to the garage and did a visual check and what do you know. Passenger side inside pad was facing the wrong way. It left some nice grooves on the rotors.
