Value in used OEM Exhaust and Suspension???

I'm about to get my 2000 996 C2 modified with a new FVD Level 2 Engine Kit and Bilstein PSS10 suspension including BBS CH-R 19 wheels.

Question: Is there any value in keeping the OEM exhaust and suspension components?

Thanks,

i don't see any use for the suspension parts. I don't think anyone would buy it either. The mufflers? Unless you're planning to sell soon and the buyer wants it quiet I don't see any use for it. You can probably sell the oem mufflers though.

Thanks geetee. Are you suggesting to keep and sell the catalytic converters and/or the mufflers or just the mufflers?

Thanks

If you have the OEM cats and mufflers...sell them unless you're going to use them. Although they don't go for much, there's always someone looking for them. Make sure you have 100 posts though

If you have the storage space, I would personally keep them if and when you do sell your car. Some like to buy "stock" cars as this gives them the perception that the car hasn't been ragged on or improperly molested in any way. This can also affect resale value sometimes but not in every situation.

My $.02

Not sure what the emission rules are in TX. But if you need to have the car smog checked, and you have 200 CEL cats, you may need the stock ones to pass smog. I do in CA and I'm glad I have my stock cats...every two years!

CATs are not cheap...

I would keep it all in back of the garage... then put back on the car when you sell.
Aftermarket parts will prob bring in more $.

Thanks to all for the feedback. I'll hold on to the exhaust components.
