exhaust question

Q:Compare:

B&B mufflers
Fabspeed
GHL

For the 3.4motor 996, which one is better. I just want a bit louder and improvement.

I'm not sure about B&B but I have never heard anything bad about Fabspeed and GHL ,great sound and excellent fit/finish. Fabs are probably a little louder than GHL, but GHL also makes a loud version. Try to hear some in person or flip a coin.
I'm happy with my Fabspeeds, my brother also really likes his GHLs.

My partner's Pcar ('02 C2 coup) has the Fabspeed and he loves it. The car is his daily driver and he was concerned with having the ability to hear the exhaust when he drives hard and the fab speed does exactly that. It is exactly like the video from Fabspeed. Of course I'm speaking for him, and he will probably reply as well, but I believe that he will give the Fabspeed a very high rating.

I have a '02 - C4 cab (not my daily driver) and wanted a more aggressive exhaust, I installed the Cargraphic exhause and LOVE it!!! I get a grin from ear to ear every time I start the car, down shift, and drive it hard. It also is not to lound if you drive the car within reason.

You can't go wrong with either the GHL or Fabspeed. They sound slightly different, but for what you're looking for, I'm sure you'll be happy with either.

Had the B&B headers & mufflers on my 3.4. I liked the sound, but it could have been louder for my taste (disclaimer: I've got bypass pipes on my GT3 now). I don't think the headers really do much, I wouldn't bother with those again.

I had the B&B on my former 968, and it had to be replaced due to cracking. Also had the Fabspeed on my former 993 and it was super cool, sounded great!

Cargraphic Export hands down. Heard em' all. Fabspeed sounds good, but CG is better.

I have a 1999. Had my mufflers replaced with ones off a 2002, put the Fabspeed Catbypass pipes on and it sounds FANTASTIC. You can get the newer factory exhuast for peanuts and the Fabspeed bypass pipes are a deal at $550!

Try them before you do anything esle-

WOooo! so confuse, Just want a muffler, but now I see the Fabspeed Cat bypass pipes and the Fabspeed bypass muffler pipes. I don't think I need the Cat bypass pipes for now.
Is it our car can drive without the muffler, Just install the bypass muffler pipes will do the same result?
