Normally I would say the same but with the added power of turbo and assuming if it's driven on the streets casually, I don't think it would be bad at all.

There are some GREAT deals on 996 turbo these days. It makes me wanna cry everytime I see these deals as they were definitely not around when I was looking for mine.

Yeah, tiptronic isn't my normal cup of tea, but I'll make an exception for a turbo. I'm just working out details on shipping now.

Funnel is infamous around these parts
tiptronic on turbo is doing repectful performence and great on the street use. I always feel I am burning my clutch in the heavy traffic....

I would go for the 2003 C4S, I have the same and love it! Plus in 2003 I believe that's when they switched from 300bhp to 320bhp. As for the turbo, I would personaly NEVER by a tiptronic car. (Though the new PDK system seems pretty sophisticated, however I am more of a purist so I would always go for the manual transmission).

Good move. Now that I have the turbo, I feel like all the other Porsche's have just been practice. The power is truly in another league and makes a c4s feel like a boring sloth.

I also opted for the tiptronic. In the turbo, you really will not regret it. When optioned or modified the same, a tip car will always beat a 6speed because it is not losing boost between shifts and the computer will outshift even the fastest.

That's the bonus part, the real reason I bought it is so I could sit in traffic and drink coffee at the same time without jerking the car for every 10 feet that opens up.

The downfall of the turbo is how fast it is. How easy it is to pick up 80hp in this car is rediculous with a tune and exhaust.... then another 80hp is only an intercooler and turbo swap away.... then with the Tb and intake plenum and CAI and fuel upgrades you can safely grab more boost and much more HP.... then..... it never ends. MUCH more expensive to own when compared to the NA where the engine is basically tapped out from the factory.
