Those of you have a Tip know it's not the quickest thing on the planet when requesting shifts. Anyone know of a recalibration or modification that will speed things up a bit on my '03. I'm not looking for what we see in F1 or Indycar, just something that will help out the OEM cause.

manual mode is a little faster boost controller is your best bet here

Thanks Airrik...I called Sprint Booster & they said the controller increases response time with the drive-by-wire acel pedal system. As for the Tip shift lag time when using the manual mode, they weren't sure. Do you know of anyone who uses this baby?

You wont pick up faster shift with a SB. It wont do anything but simulate you flooring the car everytime you hit the gas. I have it on my Benz and it transforms the car in a good way though.

Regarding TCU shift patterns, call board sponsor EPL. They do it for the turbo guys with tip.

 

Personally no I don't, however I plan to get this mod in the near future. I want to do some more important mods first though. I heard nothing but rave reviews regarding this Sprint Booster from others on this forum.

 

Trade up to a PDK.

 

Hey racerden, getting your car chipped takes care of this issue.
It's not cheap (1K) but it really works!
