I just bought a 04 C4S and I was driving it home today (9 hour drive) and I noticed that the oil pressure gauge went up to 5 bar, at one point the Oil Can light appeared and it said failure and then it went away, but the oil pressure stayed at 5 bar, then it would randomly go back to 3.5 and then again go up to 5. Engine temperature was fine, and oil level was fine (looked a bit overfilled, could this be the problem?)

Or would I need to change the oil pressure sensor?

I know the oil was recently changed when Porsche performed an oil filler tube recall, and the car was just PPI'd a few days ago and they said no problems.

I get oil sensor failure once in a while, usually just goes away a few days later. I am suspecting a faulty sensor
