First charge to the extended warranty company

Started having an issue with the passenger window making a grinding noise. Dealer said the window regulator had gone bad and had it replaced within a few hours. Both the warranty company and dealer were great to deal with.

I know it won't be the last time I have to use the warranty. Nice to know it won't be like pulling teeth to get repairs take care of.

Who wrote the warranty? Did dealer sell it? May I ask price, deductible and duration?

The warranty is through CARCHEX/Alpha. I chose them directly after researching several different ones.

titanium coverage (bumper to bumper) - 4 years or 100,000 miles. Seems like I paid close to $4K. My car is a 2004 C4S and had 34K miles when I bought it.

Or u can check fidelity. I bought a 04 c4s with 11k miles in 2007. Paid $3600 for a bumper to bumper except for the usual wear and tear parts. 6yr 75k miles.

Extended warranty companies are great for the $500 or less claims.
When things are expensive, they conveniently "dont cover that".

I had 4year/60K bumper to bumper with fidelity purchased at Pioneer Porsche in Torrance, CA for around $3100. Zero deductible.

They were totally there for me for the small stuff.

Love,
