Does anyone have a photo and description of exactly where the engine serial number location is on a 2001 C2? It is supposed to be located on the right side of the crankcase next to the fan housing. Is it visable from under the car or can it be seen by looking in the engine compartment?

 

It's on the bottom of the crankcase on the driver side. There is a flat spot with the number etched just above the oil pan.
