For Sale: Complete 997.1 08 Porsche 911 Turbo Engine 30k Miles

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $15000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo
Location (State): FL
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

PRICE REDUCED!

I am selling a complete 08 997.1 911 Turbo engine. The motor has roughly 30,000 miles on it. The engine is completely stock and does come with the stock turbos for anyone who wants them as well.

I purchased a new (to me) Porsche and therefore have an extra motor that I decided to sell instead of trying to convert into a fully built motor. The motor is currently in Pompano Beach, FL at Champion Motorsports as they pulled the motor from my old car for me. The motor has no damage and is in perfect working condition. As I said the motor is complete and has all accessories for those who say they want them, including the factory turbos.

I am looking for $15,000 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 for the engine. The motor is currently crated and ready to be shipped immediately once we complete a transaction. Additional pictures are available upon request.

For anyone interested shoot me a PM and I will be happy to give you my cell number so we can chat.

...just a question.

I have been having second thoughts on bringing this thread alive again but I think that's the only way of getting an answer.

What would the tolerance of the M96 3.4 lt be if you had decided to lower the CR to 9 :1 just with decompression plates and skip all the expensive internal mods aside?

After my reading on this post I understood that people believe that the crankshaft is pretty strong enough and since fuel and CR would be OK (Turbo Wise) you might even go with 14.5 psi. Don't know if the rods would be fine by this amount of pressure - it's not astronomical.

Anyone know if you can drop this TT motor into a 997.1 4S? Even without the side scoops there are other all motor 911's with twin turbos added.

Well the size scoops are where the intercoolers are sooooo

Also the rear, trunk, is different. Plus all the computers probably and the rest of the drivetrain and oiling/cooling so...i dont know for sure but im sure it would be a HUGE project

Simple different trunk lid , convert to water to air , like many people do ,and add a pro efi stand alone .
