How many chicks/nods/thumbs up have you gotten with your Porsche?

Frankly, the first reason I got rid of my 997 for the Bentley was lack of attention. I didn't notice people breakng their necks to look at the Porsche. As a matter of fact, in the 6 months that I had it, 1 older lady told me it was a nice car. Not even one younger chick said a word about it.
In my neighborhood, they are pretty common, so I really shouldn't have expected much as far as female attention is concerned. I will say, however, that there are a TON of male groupies for the Porsche. Reason #2 that I got rid of it.

Now Porsches are still relatively rare in my area (lots of Bimmers, Mercedes, etc, but few Porsches) however I tend to get a lot of waives, smiles, and a couple of girls in a mustang flashed me this summer. Unfortunately my 9 year old son was with me - let's just say my wife wasn't impressed :-( No, definately didn't get laid.

Here in Miami it doesn't draw the attention it would in most other places. Yet, even here the 911 has a certain cache' and people dig it. I would bet that any girl picked up for a date in a 911 would mention that fact to her friends. Your car is a sign of status but its up to you to show the class.

Here in SoCal, there's a 911 around almost every corner. Still, I've had several guys and gals comment on the car. I do think it's a Cab thing, because every comment I've ever gotten was with the lid down. Most people who pay a compliment can't believe how old the car is (2002) -- and just today, a guy and his (I think) girlfriend both stopped me in a parking lot to tell me how beautiful the car was and how it looks brand new. As far as "chicks" are concerned, I think we need to define our terms. I'm 66 years old, and to me, a chick is any woman under 50!
I've had a few chicks comment on it...the best was this new girl i went out with told me that the sound made her horny...that was right after i got the K&N cold air intake, and taking it over 4,000 RPM is when the chick would notice it..
Dude, you rocking one of those janitor belts with keys hanging out of it or what? loooool

Once i went to a club in the city,i met a chick while we were waiting to get our cars from the valet parking got her #,but luckily my car was brought out first ,she told one of her girlfriends to drive her car & jump in mines,it turn out to be a great night for me... Thanks to my PORSCHE..... LOL....

I get more thumbs up and neck-breaking from guys, because this is a guy's car. When I had my Z3 roadster, I get more neck-snapping stares from chicks.......because it is more of a chick car compared to my 996.

Funny story....
I had to go into NYC a few months ago on a Saturday night to meet someone...decided to take take the P-Car. Ended up parking in lower Manhattan on a very busy street and right near the entrance to a big nightclub. So I park and get out as I'm waiting...standing around for ~15 minutes and I watch as literally "hundreds" of young, attractive females walk by. Not one chick gave the car as much as a second glance and I think maybe only 1 or 2 guys made a quick, minor comment.
Humbling experience to say the least.
They don't get it!

I have the same experience, mostly thumbs up or people trying to take pics of my car. But I have to say if I bring my far clubbing or to a bar, pick up some chick and then when we are outside about to leave, if I show them the Porsche they will usually come back with me for the night ;-p
So random off the street strangers none, but for bars and clubs, tons!

I will have to disagree. I think Porsche's... especially C4S Cabs (like mine, lol) are sexy! But I know what you mean. There's other cars that are sexier than a Porsche... like a Lambo Murci Roadster... now that's sexy!
