OP, not sure if your bumper is OEM or aftermarket but Turbo Grilles would do wonders.

Cool

?????? Ding ding, we have a loser.

He has a stock C4S bumper.

Grills were identical to the OEM turbo already before he changed them.

Wasn't sure if he had the original grills or if the bumper was even original because of not seeing any, hence my remark.

I had mesh grills put in my MA Shaw bumper (the grills they send with it). I had them professionally installed (not cheap) but they came out great IMHO. Totally different look than the OP, which I agree doesn't look so good.

If the OP has OEM Grills a better solution would be to paint those to color match the wheels....similar to the 40th anniversary look....

I customized them to fit my stock c4s bumper. I'm not looking to buy other bumpers or anything. I just want to give the car a little more aggressive look. More of the exotic look. Def not nismo! Not sure how u got that idea. Guess ferrari or lambo and masaratti and gt3 are all Japanese rice burners now because they have mesh grill and not plastic?

Miami thank you!

1. I think Miami's complement was referring to the picture of the 40th (which he has) (not your car).

2. The mesh on the cars you mention is made of a much higher grade quality, has better shaping (Honeycomb), better fit/finish and is typically powder coated black or shade of grey/silver....not the harsh bright silver you have.

Your implementation cheapens the 996 look. I thought you were just joking around when I first saw it....apparently not...

Fly996 how about you can go on someone elses thread and make comments. A simple not my taste would have been sufficient. And so you know the glare on the mesh is from the flash on my camera!!!! Even if it was that way I could careless what you think! Clearly you enjoy coming on here trying to downgrade other people. What a life that must be!! But, that must make you feel better about your own insecurities!!! So, I won't hold this against you.

What's that mesh made of? Unless it's got a weather resistant coating or is made from high grade stainless, you might have an oxidation problem.
A can of black epoxy spray paint would fix that problem.

Cool

This is the internet.

You post up....you take the good and the bad.

But it's your car. If you are happy, great.

The stock grills also have a diverter to channel air into the radiators, good thing you live in a colder climate area.

Where did you relocate the outside air temp sensor for the climate control?

i have similar ones on my car, but they look like one you can buy from , can't remember the name, but it looks good, there in black. not mess, more like something you would see on a guitar amp . one of the main reasons people like us buy these cars is so we get complements, let's be real here. i'd go black. but this is his car, no one on the street in a Honda would say "paint you grills, it looks funny". the rims bring out the car, the contrast is a little too much. IMO.. good job!!!

I don't know what it I made of. It said it was rust resistant and stuff when I bought it. Thank you Dave for the heads up. I appreciate it. If it starts to change it's look I'll def take your advice and get the epoxy.

Mike I looked for the type of grill you have. That's what I originally wanted. The reason mine arnt black is because I think it would blend in with the black paint and hide the look. Plus the silver matches the wheels. Put up a pic of yours. I'd like to see it.

Brando I do take the good and the bad. And I listen to others opinions. I don't like to see people try and make rude comments though either. That is not necessary. I have no respect for that. When people say that's not my style that is fine. Everyone has their own tastes. But, there is a limit. You don't have to disrespect people. I don't mean you. I am talking about fly996. As for the climate I mounted it to the air induction. I am going to post a couple more pics later on of how it all came out.
