Hello from a newbie...
Hello All,
I joined the 6 back when I bought my car, but this is the first opportunity I've had to post. I picked up a bone stock 2002 C4S with 13.5K miles last July. Gotta say, absolutely loving every minute of it! As many of you wise Porsche sages have said, it's an addiction. I've found myself inventing reasons to get behind the wheel! Sadly, we're pretty socked in with the snow here in Chicagoland. I've replaced the orange side markers with smoked ones and have installed some aluminum pedals, but that's it so far. Looking forward to doing something with my exhaust (torn between Fister hack, Cargraphic, and Tubi). Looking for a good indy out here. Here are a few pics from the summer. Happy motoring!

welcome to the big butt club.
look into short shifter and GT3 delete if your right leg rubs on the console.
then, once you get your pennies together, get it lowered with coilover set of shocks.
a good thing you might want, if you drive the car alot (i seem to be doing 12 k mi per yr) is to get a tire warrantee from the porsche dealer. $700 for 5 yrs. so far I have gone through 2 sets of rears in 22k mi.
enjoy the car. it was built to DRIVE so do it!!!

beautiful 4s!!!! Check out the fabspeed exhausts. I have the header, cat delete and exhaust and the sound is outrageous!!! Sounds like a race car. Just something for you to look at.
Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I appreciate all the insights, victories, trials and tribulations I've seen posted here. I look forward to contributing. Can't wait for the weather to warm up...Bring on the Mods!! And as my little boy likes to sing, "I like big butts and I cannot lie..."

JB,
Can't reply to your PM yet as I only have 3 posts...
I'm out in Elmhurst (Dupage county/western suburbs). Been out here now since 2002. Winnetka's beautiful--I've got a lot of colleagues from the north shore. Where are you located now?
Still learning my way around this board, but would definitely like to hook up with others.
Drove her hard today. Felt great. Thanks for the advice!
