thinking of going the 997(.1) route myself.. please post more about the various differences.

 

my 2002 c2 was a wonderful car - loved the PSE -the technic pkg. -the carbon pkg. -the flared rockers - park asist - it waqs a super car - great service.

The difference though is enormous with the new 997S - i had been avoiding driving a new one and actually bought this one without ever driving a 997 of any year or model.

my advice stay away or you will be hooked. the whole car is a massive upgrade -suspension -pasm -steering -engine 3.8 - drives very differently ..and that is before you look at the interior changes.

loved my 996 - getting to know the new one. enjoy and have fun with the cars.
