Has anyone noticed the car has two different sets of wheels, two different licence plates, one has a GT3 badge the other has no badge... One car has after market wheels with the wrong offset... Stay far far away from this one...

 

Doc, that's a Rx for disaster, run don't walk away from this one.

 

The seller is an a-hole. He's tried to move this POS half a dozen times on eBay and even backed out on one buyer. I brought to his attention that his ad is full of many outright lies and he sent me a nasty reply to my e-mail.

Stay away from this clown and his POS car.

 

If you're sold on it then take the plane ride.....

It will be worth it to find out on your own....

stardoc - you obviously can do whatever you like but this car has FRAUD written all over it. just too many inconsistencies:

badge vs no badge
Exhaust that has been broken apart and rewelded to have the sound of the PSE - tells me he's too cheap just to buy the PSE. What else has he cheaped out on?
turbo vs GT3 listing
wrong offset on wheels - damage to wheel wells or the bushings themselves?

i have a feeling that if you do get this car, there WILL be some issue and the seller is going to try and screw you anyway he can. Just be prepared to spend money on attorney's fees.

Isn't that a normal stock 996 front bumper as well? Thought the GT3 kits has a lower more agressive front lip...

 

I would NOT buy that car. The ad and description is so misleading. Its so misleading, that you're bound to get a lemon like its color.

 

Thanks for all your help guys. I don't think I'll be buying this car with all the inconsistencies mentioned by everyone. Interesting how the front bumper was not shown...turns out it wasn't a GT3 bumper(good call 996garage). Also the guy told me that he needs the money for medical reasons but apparantly he's now buying a Lotus.
I found a 2003 with very low miles I might buy from a reputable dealer.
Beautiful car "dpblessing", I'd take it off your hands except I have YELLOW fever in me.
Again thanks for all the input, it saved me probably from a lot of headaches.
