Hello,
just found a clean 2003 c4s with less than 30000 miles on it. The dealer is asking 43,900.
The car is automatic (looking for a DD), basalt black with red interior. Looking for some opinions regarding the price. Thank you.

 

To be honest, that seems high. I bought my (nearly perfect) 2003 C4S in January 2010 from a Porsche dealer with 23,000 miles for less than $40K. Maybe the market is improving?

 

Is it a positive or negative influence on our 996's when newer models arrive with increased sticker price? What other factors influence the 996 Market? Thanks.

 

You can get a similar year and milage 996 TT for that money... but if i were you id get a 997S for that money...

Ask for service records. Does it come with warranty? How many previous owners? Clean carfax history? Do a PPI. If everything turns out OK offer him $36k-$37k

 

are you serious? you will probaly be last in line now, if you dint know they were that cheap...

 

Should be in mid to high $30's depending on options and condition.

Limited market for tip.

Agreed mid 40s for a 996 C4S is bananas given it is one of the most sexy 996s out its still too high. If its clean I would go as high as 38k and thats just based on what I see being sold around me here in FL. GL

 

There is a clean 03 for $33,500 OBO on another site.........

Dont worry about Milage, look at Condition and Combo... From my experiance Lower Mileage cars tend to have more Mechnical Problems...

Id rather buy a High Milage car that is Well Kept... than a Low Milage car.
