Where to find taillight part
I have one socket on my taillight harness that is broken. One of the two metal clips has fallen out and of course, is gone. To replace the entire harness is $250 which seems steep as it works, less the one socket .

Anyone have any ideas where I might find an old harness to salvage a socket from? Included a photo to help illustrate the broken part. I am surprised the pre-purchase inspection did not note the light being out. As there was no bulb in the broken socket when I pulled the light off it must have been missed.

I'd try Parts Heaven or another "used" parts house.

Now might be the time to go to LED taillights. I believe that they replace the harness at the lights.
