Intro and Hello...

Hello,

I have been reading/researching this site for quite sometime, as a guest, trying to decide which Porsche I wanted to buy. At first, my categories were really wide (Cayman, Cayman S, any/all 911s, and of course I still love the GT2/3's); however, after months of research, I decided to buy a 2001 Porsche C4.

I have attached a few pics of it. Any/all tips as a first time Porsche owner are always welcomed. Thanks again for everyone's indirect assistance and attention to details.

JC

Awesome color! I love that color on a 996. What was your thinking on getting the C4? Every winter I think maybe a should have gone with a C4, but snow and ice aren't really an issue in Charlotte. Well, except for this crazy winter that is.

What's the mileage? Interior color?

LOL... No doubt!!!

It has 48,200 miles on it right now, after I put 100 on it this weekend; with silver/dove grey interior. I actually was looking for a turbo or C4S but came across a terrific deal on this one that I couldn't pass up.

oh man.. that is without a doubt one of the nicest colours. I owned 2 BMW's close to that colour, before my C4s arrived.
I always wanted a black car, but that colour is soooo awesome..

congrats and enjoy...

Benvenidos. Awesome color. The exact color I desired until I ran across a blk/blk 99 C2 @43K mi at a great price point. Maybe next time. Don't be shy. The members of this forum are user friendly.
