Good source for LED tail lights for 996?

Decided to finally update my tail lights this year. Anyone have a good/reliable source to order them? Just tried to get it off ebay from 'voltexmotoring' and ran into some issues with them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Same here, looking for a set myself but most threads do not mention a good source or the e-bay links are all expired.

I bought my set from the seller (Redlines) on Amazon.com

They arrived in PERFECT condition with no shipping damage, and fitment was 100% dead on. Also the quality was as good as OEM in my opinion. This is a much better option than buying them on Ebay, as many of the sellers are in China/Taiwan and if you have any issues with the lights then you're pretty much screwed. The shipment on these lights is fulfilled by Amazon.com and they are shipped from the USA, and arrive FAST if you have Amazon Prime.

Here are the links. In the pictures they upper part of the tail lights show orange, but the orange is only present when the brakes are pressed, otherwise they remain clear. Also the smoked version isn't that dark, so if you have a darker car, or are want a slightly darker lense, then these are an awesome choice. Either one looks awesome.

As far as I know that is the case... I don't have them on my C4S. I just came across them on ebay.

Why would they make the upper part orange?

The fact that the LEDs light up orange has absolutely no cosmetic effect whatsoever. The time they are lit is about .001% of the time you are driving the car, so whay does it matter? Also doesn't the law require the orange color? Hence all the orange bulbs out there........ I don't know, just a guess......

Thank you for all the input guys!

I noticed a lot of ebay auctions for the lights were coming out of china. For the price, shipping, travel time and the fragility of shipping - i opted to go with Redline from Amazon.

We'll see how it goes!

When do they light up? (.001%) Amber lights in the rear are not required in North America. Are the orange LEDs visible when off, or are they clear LEDs that transmit orange light?

Yup, they are clear LEDs that emit orange light. So they remain clear whenever your foot is not on the brake, which is 99.999% of the time lol. I'll go run outside and take a picture of my lights real quick.
