Porsche North Scottsdale
Well we made it home safely! An amazing trip!
Let me start with the car. PNS completed the corrections. I couldn't tell the fender ever had any work what so ever so no need to do anything there. The laser paint numbers were right and matched the other fender. No paint work ever…yea!
I have had a 993 and 996 previously but neither were AWD. What a completely different experience! Diving into the corners has taken on all new meaning
The car ran flawlessly. The sport exhaust plays the best note. I have since disconnected the "orange connection" in the motor box to keep it singing. The rims received a few small chips. The fact that they extend outside the lip doesn't help. A little bummed about that but oh well. I wouldn't trade it for the drive time.
Porsche North Scottsdale lived up to expectations and then some. They had a driver meet us at the airport. The car was as promised. They quickly switched out the marker lights for me before leaving. New key chains were handed out for each key. And I picked up a sweet 918 Polo along with some old posters to frame and put up in the garage. My wonderful wife stood back and just laughed at me. A kid in a candy store.
We hit very few interstates the whole drive. We took back roads as much as possible. Some of the highlights were watching the sunrise while barreling out of Vegas, crossing the Sierra Nevadas, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa Valleys and Mt. Shasta. We had tons of sunshine and the top down most of the trip. We put nearly 2300 miles on the car. One day we just kept driving because we were having so much fun! 13.5 hours later we called it for the day
Here are a few photos.
