Question thinking of adding cargraphic headers, any thoughts

I have installed a cargraphic exhaust and it sounds GREAT. However now I'm looking for a little more power. Any sugguestions on headers, I was considering cargraphic headers.

Save your money. I had B&B headers on my 996 C2 and they looked great (if you got under the car), but didn't add any power. Don't believe the BS the mfg's will tell you, there's no power gain from headers that you'll feel.

A friend of ours had them on his 2002 996 and loved them. He would swear by them. When he sold the car the guy who bought it didn't want to spend the extra money for them so he removed them. A week later the guy returned and bought the headers and exhaust and couldn't be happier.

That's funny because I just added B&B headers and I do feel a difference exactly where their dyno graph shows the power increase. Mid to upper.

Actually Doc,

HP gain depends on design.. our header system for the 3.4&3.6 996 provides 10HP gain over stock and increases lower end throttle response.. We have has these systems dyno's several times

Don't know about the power increase...but I've heard Porschebabe's car with the cargraphic headers and export exhaust. Sounds awesome. I would have bought the headers too, but the wife would have killed me.

10 hp gain possibly with some 100 cell cats, either way, what is 10 hp gain anyhow. only way for noticable HP is forced induction, like kirby and robyn with the Accurat rat pack. thats the only right way.

we get 30+ out of the complete package... put that together with some forced induction and now we talkin'
But the exhaust package is tried and true and a great way to get some much needed HP inexpensively

30+hp? Maybe with cats, header, mufflers, new ECU and that's not "inexpensively". Otherwise, no way.

Can you elaborate what's involved and the price? Thanks.
