Newbie Buyer question

I did find an 01 c2 cabriolet 6 speed with 33k miles in mint condition. Buyer and I have worked out a price of 27k. Has the aero side and rear kit. Other then that it has had the 60k services recently done to it since it has be sitting more then being driven. My questions are is red that hard to find ? I cant seem to locate many and is this a good deal for a cab with the mileage and condition? Thanks in advance guys

good things come to those who wait, is a old saying, but if you are in a rush, or feel, this is just the car for you, then buy it. Sometime, or at least I feel, after buying a car, if I waited 2 or 3 more months i always find something cheaper, and better then the one i just bought. I say do a little more research, and if you are not pressed to buy the car asap, then wait it out a little. My .02, Goodluck either way

My main thought was is a red on black 6 speed cab very hard to find? Should I be willing to spend more money on it since it seems that they were not produced int hat combo as much as lets say silver or black?

if you cant wait to do some more research, then go for it, especially if it is clean, meaning it is clean, clean carfax, and has service records....

When shopping for color combo it will be hard to find exactly what your looking for. Red on black is a sweet color combo.

A mint red/blk low mileage 01 C2 cab with an aero kit @ $27K is rare. High retail is $37K (rip off dealer). And, low retail is $30 K (reasonable). It's time for a PPI at a reputable establishment. Case in point: After over a year of patient searching, I acquired a low mileage (43K) 99 C2 blk/blk, aero kit, M030 suspension, blk aftermarket 19" rims, and a perfect PPI @ $23.5K. Six months later, I have not been able to find a better deal for a P-car that met my specific requirements. I feel you are at the same cross roads. If it aces the PPI, buy it.

Another old saying is "If you snooze, you lose" Case in point: MarkusB1's post.

I got an awesome deal on my low mileage (13k miles) 2004 C4S Cab and it was in the color that I wanted (triple grey). But I thought if I waited any longer I might not find another in the same condition/color at the same price... unless I was willing to wait another year or 2 which I was not since I already waited/searched for close to 2 years.
