Tire question

Hello. I just got off the phone with Tire Rack and they told me I can no longer get Bridgestone S-02, N-1 tires for the front of my 99 cab. I have these same tires on the rear of the car, and I only have around 2K miles on them. Thus, I'd like to avoid getting four new tires. They told me the S-02s are available as either N-2s or N-3s. I have no idea what this means. Is there anything wrong with getting the N-2s or N-3s for the fronts (even though I have N-1s in the rear)?

Thanks for the help...

especially since your car is not AWD, i do not THINK it will be a problem

i feel for ya on the cost of possibly facing 4 new ones............just had my rears go out and have been told that i got one of the last sets of PS Ribs because Michelin has haulted production for some reason - almost had to buy 4 new tires of some different brand

Thanks Lizard... I was thinking the same thing. Does anyone know a reason to not mix the "N" ratings front to back? I understand one should not mix brands or treads, but I believe the tread pattern would be exactly the same.
