tarzancoe is infamous around these parts
There is a 2002 996 C4 Cab with 3.8L engine in renntech right now. 3.8 bored engine, with nicasil (probably LN Engineering) cylinder sleeves. Bulletproof and with bigger engine. If you want a cab, I'd strongly look at it. Can't go wrong. Rebuilding the engine like this is about 15k by itself, cylinder sleeves alone are 4k. The body work and aftermarket things are irrelevant as there are relatively cheap.

All of these posts are really swaying me in favor of buying the 911. I have been keeping up since I started the thread and lurking elsewhere on the forum. I am thinking I will buy a new car around the end of the year. I just can't decide if I go for the 911 now or buy a more responsible car and get a 911 sometime in the future. I try to NOT want the 911 but I just can't do it. It seems like it will fit me like a glove.
