996 GT3 fitment HRE wheels on 996 NB

I have a set of HRE's in GT3 fitment.

Front being 18x8.5 with a 39 offset and the rear is 18x11 with a 61 offset.

Everyone I have asked (including HRE) says they will fit in the rear fine, just need a spacer. However, some people have said the front will be fine and others say the fenders will need to be rolled.

Can anyone here comment on the front situation?

TIA

996 C2 OEM is 18X7.5 ET50 Front; 18x10 ET65 Rear. It seems to me that 18X8.5 ET 39 up front will push the wheel outward ~ 1/2 inch. At the rear, 18X11 ET61 may require a 5 - 10 mm spacer. However, the rear may also be fine without a spacer dependent on the choice of tire section width. Nonetheless, I believe you may be fine in terms of mechanics. And, a bit off in front in terms of aesthetics. Good luck.

Aside from your P-car being lowered, I do not believe you would need to roll the front fender. Also, a section width 235mm - 245mm up front should do the trick.

I would roll them to be safe. The GT3 fenders are nice and rolled from the factory. The standard narrow body has a little more meat on the fender that can be rolled to accommodate the more aggressive setup.

Both front and rear should fit fine. No rolling or spacers needed.

+1 on the no spacers as long as they are going on another narrow body.

what 996 NB is this for? mk1 or mk2? your sig says you have a 996tt which is a WB...

I have similar rims, but in 19" on my 996 NB 40th (mk2).
19x8.5, et 39
19x11, et 63

fronts:
the front is near the fender limit of what will fit on a stock 996 NB. depending on the tire, camber, suspension, alignment, model year, you may rub. to predict what will fit without that knowledge is impossible. mine fits fine without rolled fenders, but I have an altered suspension and alignment.

rears:
the rear is not near the limit. however, mk1 rear suspension differed from mk2 rear suspension and mk1 is more limited in offset in the rear. depending on your model year, the rear wheel may look more "inset" under the fender compared to the very aggresive offset on the front wheel.

The GT3 Wheel is Front 8.5X18 ET40 and Rear 11X18 ET63. These will fit any 996 NB from 1999 to 2004. I had CCW make two sets of wheels using these offsets and sized for my 2001 Carrera and they are perfect. Hoosiers Front 245/35/18 and Rear 295/30/18

They will fit. I run a 9.0 et44 and 11.0 et64 with no issues.

Cheers
