Keep an eye out on eBay for a used set of Fabspeed mufflers. I picked mine up for $450. Then a drop in BMC filter and Schnell Cold Air Intake tube. Then a short shift kit. Look for deals and you can get all this for $1k with a few bucks to spare.

 

Track days.

 

I was able to pick up an afterhours exhaust and an EVOMS intake on the marketplace here on 6speed for under 1k. I also bought a B&M undercar SSK for under 100 from titan. I really like the way my mods turned out

 

ROW M030 Suspension. $1200 plus alignment if you can do the install yourself. If not, then cans for certain. Fister's or used Fabs. For short shifter, the 997 stock shifter can be put in with a lot better feel and slightly shorter throws - about $200 at Suncoast. But these come up used for under $100 now and again.
