do a google search based upon DRL/911 for Canada, depending on the year of your p-car, it is supposed to be possible to have the proper relay added.
I looked into it a while ago and the other alternative if you cant plug the relay, is a jumper on a fuse in the fuse panel. I didn't try it but from what i read, its a common approach.
Let me know if you find a better solution, i would like to have the DRl in my 2000.

Easy Daytime Running Lights

The easiest thing is to put a wire tie behind the Headlamp switch. As you know to turn on your fog lamps you pull the switch out. Simply put a wire tie behind so that when you turn the headlamp switch off... the fog lamps stay on... and there you have it....

I have been running mine like this for over a year with no problems....

Good afternoon gentlemen,

There is an automatic headlight solution for 911 997, Boxster and Cayman 987 and CAYENNE 955 and 957.

I run it on my 997 TT; installed in minutes and almost invisible.
No need to change the original switch

its called PALS, check autolightsystems com website.

Cheers
